It has recently been brought to our attention that we have not made a drink using the delicious elixer that is tequila in quite some time.This must be remedied immediately, don’t you think?
And so, we would kindly like to introduce you to the Spiced Tequila Punch!

Well, now that we have passed Labor Day it’s time to put away all of your white clothes, pack up your beach towels, and get ready for Fall! Little known fact: Fall is our favorite season here at The Woman At The Bar, so suffice it to say that the second the clock struck midnight after Labor Day we were pulling out our Fall decorations and prepping for various autumn-themed drinks. Lucky for you, all those leaf-changing, air-crisping, apple-picking themed drinks happen to be delicious!
And since today is the first Monday in the Summer-to-Fall transition, we decided to jump on in and get started with a ridiculously delicious creation of ours: the Autumn Slush!

We, on the other hand, are still working away — but to celebrate the holiday have another very special reader challenge for this week’s original cocktail!
If any of you out there have visited The Happiest Place On Earth, you have likely encountered these:
The glorious Dole Whip. Pineapple Juice mixed with pineapple soft serve. A delicious Disney treat for anyone who has schlepped around Fantasy Land for several hours.
We were challenged to create an alcoholic version of the classic theme park delicacy and so, without further ado, we give to you the Adult Dole Whip, AKA the Please Don’t Sue Us Disney We Really Like You And Mean No Harm With This Parody We Just Think That If The Parents Had Access To Liquor In The Park Things Would Be Much Better For Them.

We’ll be honest: although we love all of our original drinks, there are some that have a special place in our heart. And today’s drink is one of them. Forgive us for saying so, but we tend to think this one is an instant classic. Not bragging, just truth telling.
Because really, when you take a little bourbon, a little spice, a little citrus, and shake it up with a little bit of magic, you get something absolutely delicious!
