Bloody Mary. Mimosa. Bellini. What do all of these things have in common (besides being delicious)? They are perfectly acceptable to drink at breakfast time! And since we are firm believers that a Sunday brunch is not complete without a brunch cocktail, we decided to work up and sweet and savory cocktail that is perfect to add into your mid-morning breakfast rotation.
You know how in movies about the 1920s everyone seems to be fabulously dressed and drinking deliciously tantalizing champagne cocktails out of sparkling coupe glasses? Now that we have said that, do you also want to be fabulously dressed and drinking a deliciously tantalizing champagne cocktail out of a sparkling coupe glass?
Well then dust off your Great Gatsby-est attire and get ready for a 20s-inspired drink that will blow your minds!
We’ll be honest: although we love all of our original drinks, there are some that have a special place in our heart. And today’s drink is one of them. Forgive us for saying so, but we tend to think this one is an instant classic. Not bragging, just truth telling.
Because really, when you take a little bourbon, a little spice, a little citrus, and shake it up with a little bit of magic, you get something absolutely delicious!

If you can believe it (we know we can’t), we are actually headed down the latter half of summer already. Time, my dears, oh how it flies. So to commemorate this very special time of year–and to momentarily shut our ears and eyes agains the fact that it will soon come to a close–we created a delicious and light summer cocktail, perfect for drinking as the sun sets on a warm day.
A few things up front: yes, we know the World Cup is over and that we should have posted this cocktail last week, and no we do not know anything about soccer or whether Italy or Mexico even played in the World Cup — but what we DO know is that this quickie cocktail is delicious, and really, that is what matters!
